Product details

Companies face two central challenges in the 21st century: on one hand, there is a need for flexible adaptation to changes in the business environment and discontinuities. On the other hand, intra-organizational resistances and obstacles must be overcome that hinder adaptation to the volatile conditions of the external business environment. One solution approach is Corporate Entrepreneurship, whose core idea lies in transferring the fundamental patterns and strengths of young growth companies to established, larger firms. The monograph examines both theoretically and through two empirical causal models the strategic management of Corporate Entrepreneurship using the example of the German automotive industry. The focus of the dissertation is on investigating the organizational and contextual determinants of Corporate Entrepreneurship.
