Mathematics is considered difficult, and particularly Analysis 1 is seen as a stumbling block by first-year students. However, most just need a bit more guidance and, above all, a lot of practice—essentially, intensive training. This book offers such training. The structure is based on the author's introductory course in Analysis 1, but thanks to detailed literature references with content correlations, the Analysis 1 training can be successfully used alongside any standard textbook and lecture on analysis. Each section begins with a summary of the theory, followed by tutorials with detailed explanations of selected important topics. After that, numerous worked examples are provided, and finally, a series of exercises with varying degrees of detailed solution hints are offered. The entire content is supported by many illustrations.
