After volumes 1 ("The Scientific Foundations") and 2 ("Dryers and Drying Processes") have been available for some time in their third and second editions, respectively, this third volume completes the revision of this standard work. This allows for the fulfillment of the expressed desire, particularly from practitioners, to address their issues regarding drying goods. In this volume 3, the product-specific questions of drying are discussed. For the 10 most important product groups - starting from agriculture and ending with paint processing - various drying processes and the corresponding specialized dryers are explained in detail. Special attention is given to product properties, drying processes, possible changes during drying, the influence on product characteristics, as well as equipment and process technology.
