In the theoretical discussion of leadership, the influence of employee motivation on business success is being increasingly debated. Quality management systems take into account motivational aspects of workplace design concerning quality assurance through concepts such as employee orientation. The impact of motivational aspects on the quality of further education has been little studied in the field of educational science so far. Based on the analysis of the most commonly implemented quality management system in the educational field, Mario Dieninghoff demonstrates a possible integration of motivation-relevant dimensions of organizational and workplace design into quality management systems.
