A new short guide has been released for the Peter C. Ruppert Collection - Concrete Art in Europe since 1945, which has been housed in the Kulturspeicher Würzburg since the museum's opening in 2002. Conceptually and in terms of content, the short guide sits between the extensive catalog of the Ruppert Collection published in 2002 and the small booklet "The Red Thread," which presents both museum collections - the municipal collection and the Ruppert Collection - in a pocket format. The book offers a printed tour of Concrete Art over 96 pages. It explains the concept, its historical development, and the key questions of this art movement as they are presented in the Ruppert Collection. The concise, easily understandable texts for laypersons are accompanied by extensive visual material. Design principles of Concrete Art are illustrated with image examples.
