After the death of the coup leader Shinzon and the suppression of the Reman uprising, a political power vacuum has emerged on the Romulan homeworld. Various factions within the Romulan Empire are fighting for dominance over the numerous planets and colonies that comprise the empire. One of these worlds is Kevratas, a harsh ice planet on the edge of the galaxy.
