How can we engage students and convey the content of lessons not just cognitively? How do we deal with a very heterogeneous group of learners? The solution: Station learning. This modern form of teaching allows students to learn independently, creatively, and collaboratively. The introduction briefly explains the method of station learning and its practical implementation in the classroom. In the practical part, the most important curriculum topics of 8th-grade mathematics are addressed. The topics covered include expressions, linear equations and functions, percentage and interest calculations, solids, and statistics. Students are introduced to each topic through four to nine mandatory stations, as well as various additional stations.
