"History and Stubbornness" is the main work of a three-year collaboration between the two authors and a continuation of critical theory with a democratic character. In particular, the authors read texts by Marx as traces of history and develop from them an economy of labor power or human qualities, without which the processes of history would be incomprehensible. We are interested in what takes place in a world where it is evident that disasters occur, which perform material-changing work. These are the historical capacities for labor: arising from processes of separation and armed with a stubbornness that resists these separations. The reader is expected to engage with this book by selecting the passages and chapters that relate to their own life.
