The authors present a selection of very different day trips and complement these with selected dining options, typical Bavarian beer gardens, and great excursion destinations for children and adults. Ten city hikes in the heart of Munich are easily accessible by subway, without the risk of traffic jams or parking issues. The second part describes twelve additional hikes in the Munich outskirts and S-Bahn area.
