The wonderfully walkable Eifel region offers a diverse landscape and rich culture, along with a good network of hiking trails for every taste. This hiking guide builds on the outdoor guide "Eifel North," published in 2015. The author now addresses all hiking enthusiasts who want to spend a day or a weekend in the southern part of the Eifel. It includes a mix of routes with varying lengths and difficulty levels for all seasons and in all sub-regions of the Rhineland-Palatinate Eifel, extending beyond the national borders into the Belgian and Luxembourg Eifel. The book features short barrier-free hikes that can be easily managed with a stroller, as well as typical day hikes and exciting half-day hikes for families. Many of the described hikes run along a longer long-distance hiking trail for a portion of their route.
