The Via Tolosana is the southernmost of the four major pilgrimage routes in France. Starting from Arles on the Mediterranean, you will journey through the university city of Montpellier and experience many breathtaking mountain stages to the metropolis of Toulouse (Occitan Tolosa), continuing through the historic region of Gascony. Finally, the Via Tolosana crosses the Pyrenees and ultimately joins the Camino Francés in the Spanish town of Puente la Reina.
