The third scientific course by Rudolf Steiner was established under the same conditions as the two preceding courses and was essentially aimed at the same group of participants. It was titled, as the book edition now also carries, which accurately describes the theme of the lectures - developing perspectives on the various scientific disciplines in their relationships to each other and to humanity. Rudolf Steiner rejected the designation of the course as "astronomical" as misleading and therefore incorrect.
