The second edition takes into account the extensive, newly published literature. The author has supplemented the manual for psychoeducational group training with the topic of opiates. She presents this in an additional version for individual therapy (KomPAkt training). The second, detailed manual is designed for cognitive-behavioral group therapy (KomPASs training). KomPAkt and KomPASs focus, among other things, on interactions between substance use and psychotic symptoms, on cognitions that are typical for both disorders, as well as on stress as a risk factor for relapse. Additionally, it includes materials and handouts as templates for copying.
