Four boys living in a boarding school in a small town in central Germany discover a food depot in a ruin. A door is broken open and paradise unfolds. But it is disrupted, "corrupted" by a Jewish boy who has escaped from a concentration camp. The Russian troops are not far away. He would have to stay hidden for a few days, then he would be free. In the struggle for his life, the outrageous human depravity of a society shaped by fascism is reflected.
