Coordinated developments of urban space and pedagogy in local educational landscapes require the cooperation of many different professions. However, the participants currently often lack fundamental strategies and approaches to interlink the complex tasks. The significance of a changed form of collaboration between previously separate professional fields is substantial, raising questions about the governance of local educational landscapes. How are the actors connected to the spatial levels and decisions? Which governance aspects are relevant for project implementation? Where do particular challenges lie? The study broadens the knowledge base for local educational landscapes and formulates recommendations for municipal and private sector stakeholders.
