In both city and countryside, there is a pleasing resurgence of traditional attire. With the growing appreciation for the culture and traditions of our homeland, there is also an increasing effort to actively preserve them. In hundreds of courses, beautiful, predominantly handmade traditional dresses are being sewn. These are complemented by jackets featuring old patterns and modeled stockings. Interest in the knitting patterns that have been used here for many generations is on the rise. Thus, the almost forgotten skill of modeled knitting is being revived. This workbook is intended to be a valuable resource for this branch of applied folk art. Its design allows for expansions and additions and enables the removal of individual sheets. The inclusion of knitting charts and stitch diagrams for each depicted pattern aims to facilitate the learning of the pattern; guidelines and cutting instructions help to avoid mistakes.
