His name is Storm. An astronaut of the 21st century. During a routine flight, he gets caught in a cosmic whirlwind. There, he is hurled thousands of years into the future and soon realizes that there will never be a return to his own time. Together with Rothaar, he finds himself on the living planet Pandarve, where different laws of nature apply than on Earth. The two adventurers quickly come under the scrutiny of the power-hungry theocrat Marduk and are constantly on the run with their companion Nomad.
