The revised edition of the Stratego series offers exercises in spelling that enable students in lower secondary education to acquire spelling strategies in a targeted and independent manner. Independent learning is supported through fundamental work techniques in spelling instruction (looking up, finding and correcting errors, word lists, copying, partner dictation). Students can monitor their learning success both through the included answer section and through competency assessments at the end of an exercise unit. To accommodate the increasingly diverse student body, differentiation tasks are provided in some areas for higher-performing students. Each volume includes a brief explanation of the series concept, aimed at both teachers and students.
