Ten years after the first edition was published, which was reprinted multiple times, not only two new authors joined but also new topics and content such as world status analysis and the psychological aspects of high jumping. The content has been condensed compared to the first edition, and the empirical basis has been expanded with numerous data sets, recalculated, and the results and evaluations formulated at that time have been reviewed.
