Schools and kindergartens can best meet their increasingly complex demands by closely networking with various supportive partners. The most important of these are the parents. However, working with parents is often a neglected area in the training and education of educators.

The following thematic focuses are addressed: career orientation, personality development, health promotion, media education, performance assessment and homework, talent and interest promotion, democratic education, as well as various settings for collaboration with parents, including all advantages and disadvantages, supplemented by checklists and humorous cartoons.
