In recent years, the number of contributions to Mexican paleontology has significantly increased, focusing on providing important information for oil exploration and specific studies on various fossil groups. This publication aims to make the fossil records of Mexico, ranging from the Precambrian to the Pleistocene, accessible to a broader international audience. Many reports were previously published only in local or regional journals, creating a language barrier for the international scientific community. By compiling these works into a book, the paleontological history of Mexico is brought closer to a global audience, fostering interest in further research in this field.
