Fascial training for yogis Yin Yoga is fascia yoga and thus the ideal method to keep our connective tissue supple, tone the figure, and become pain-free. However, to properly stretch the fascia, the use of props is essential, even for advanced practitioners. Only with the help of cushions, pillows, blocks, and straps can we allow our bodies to fully release muscular tension - a prerequisite for effectively training the fascia.
