It becomes clear how his political theology transformed during National Socialism, as Schmitt undertook a biologization of the political and devised a "species-appropriate," "German" legal doctrine. In Schmitt's works, which are subjected to critical reading here, traditional anti-Jewish notions overlap with modern political antisemitism.
