Whether it's furniture, posters, websites, clothing, pictograms, cars, or urban spaces: design is omnipresent. However, it has received (almost) no attention in philosophy until now. Daniel Martin Feige fills this gap by presenting an explication of fundamental concepts associated with design and establishing design as an aesthetic practice in its own right.
