More precisely: He lets Don Juan himself narrate, for seven days in a May garden near Port-Royal-des-Champs, and only occasionally does a comment from the one to whom the adventures of the past seven days are recounted appear. This listener attests that all the Don Juans on television, in opera, in theater, or even in primary life are the wrong ones. "Don Juan is someone else.
