Things, whether flowers, feathers, shit, or the West, that can be found among colleagues from all times and can be newly integrated; the texture of the most diverse everyday and political voices. For Marcel Beyer, such polyphony is the only effective antidote to the entire monolithic, fanatic, fascist, and chauvinistic nonsense in poetry and the discourse surrounding it.
