With this volume "The Plays 3," all of Heiner Müller's works are now available in the collected edition. It contains all the texts conceived as theatrical works that Müller wrote between 1978 and his death in 1995. Among them are well-known plays that are central to his oeuvre; additionally, previously unpublished dramatic texts are made accessible, which had only found their way into the public eye through productions. Plays like Philoktet from 1979 were previously published only in newspapers and are presented here for the first time in book form. Three brief scenes found in his estate have also been included.
