Lenk discusses philosophical, psychological, and anthropological approaches to creativity theories: from the dual connection to the multiple connections of ideas from fundamentally different fields, from artistic inspiration and imagination to philosophical interpretations of processes and the application of chaos theories in art. Creative metaphor formation, creative play, and the dynamic nature of creativity in evolutionary processes also shed light on human creation. As a new insight, the author develops the idea that ascending to higher layers (meta-layers) of interpretation opens up creative alternatives for the meta-level being of humans and can awaken creative potentials.
