Journalist Lily Bigelow is found dead in the courtyard of Carrickfergus Castle, where she apparently locked herself in overnight. Suicide is suspected, but a few things give Sean Duffy pause, and he refuses to leave it at that. Duffy discovers that Bigelow was working on a devastating revelation regarding corruption and abuse of power within the highest echelons of the British government and beyond. Thus, he finds himself confronted with two serious problems.
