In recent decades, a research field known as Science and Technology Studies (STS) has emerged, fundamentally redefining the relationship between science, technology, and society. This volume brings together, for the first time, key texts of STS in the German language, including works by Bruno Latour, David Bloor, Michel Callon, Donna Haraway, and Karen Barad. It also provides overviews of all important research areas and theoretical positions. Thus, it serves as a fundamental introduction to this innovative research direction, while also taking stock of the development of STS and exploring current challenges and debates.
