"Submergence" tells the story of a young married man who travels to Barcelona on behalf of a newspaper. He has never been to Spain before, but upon entering the city, he has a disconcerting feeling of having returned. What begins as a Spanish adventure evolves into the trauma of a traveler who unexpectedly finds himself slipping from the brightness of everyday order into a dark zone, where he experiences the shocking interchangeability of all connections.
