Summa Technologiae summarizes the currently tangible results of futurological science and develops new concepts that were previously unknown to us. The book discusses some possible "futures" of human civilization. Futurology is not a science but a battleground of conflicting interests. When future developments are closely linked to future scientific discoveries, their prediction is equivalent to anticipating these discoveries. This is logically impossible. We can only uncover the invariants of our world and delineate the boundary that separates the possible (permitted) from the impossible (forbidden). What can we make of the world, what is possible? Almost everything - except for this: that people could one day think, "Enough - the way it is now should remain the same forever.".
