Tote Liebe
German, Antonio Hill, 2015Product details
The conclusion of the Barcelona trilogy featuring Inspector Héctor Salgado. A couple lies naked among dried flowers, their skulls smashed in. Next to them is a backpack full of money. This is what Inspector Héctor Salgado encounters when he is called to the abandoned house on the outskirts of Barcelona. The victims have been missing for seven years, seemingly swallowed by the earth, since their ménage-à-trois with a friend fell apart. Did he simply kill them? Out of jealousy, out of rage? Salgado tracks him down in a closed psychiatric facility - a wreck, pumped full of medication - but after the interrogation, one thing is certain: he was not the only one with good reason to snap back then. Father, bandmate, childhood friend, all were bitterly disappointed by the victims.
