Walter Benjamin's radio works have received surprisingly little attention from researchers so far. However, the texts that have only been published sporadically constitute a significant part of his overall oeuvre: Benjamin produced over 80 broadcasts between 1927 and 1933 - as a radio play author, as the creator of the new format "audio model," as a speaker in the "Youth Hour," as well as in the literary program for adults, and not least as a host of "radio games" in the evening. In the context of these works, he reflects on the new medium and the accompanying popularization, implementing his own innovative concepts.
