This volume contains a series of initial consultations conducted by various psychoanalytic child therapists. These initial consultations, presented and interpreted from diagnostic and therapeutic perspectives, aim to provide insight into the workshop of the child therapist, focusing primarily on the first contact between parents, child, and therapist. When the child's distress, problems, or symptoms have led the parents to seek the child therapist, they describe their concerns about the child during the initial consultation, while the child expresses their world using the means available to them in the context of the first contact.
