Jesse Bronske never believed that Hannover-Langenhagen would be the place life had in store for him. Nor did he think that the beautiful Mona would be the woman by his side. Mona works as a cashier at "SUPERBUHEI," where Jesse also runs the bar "Klaus Meine." Day after day, he serves drinks to desolate figures, which he has named after Scorpions songs like Gin of Change or Grog You Like a Hurricane. However, the desire for uniqueness was cruelly thwarted throughout his life by his twin brother Aaron. Aaron resembles him so closely that even their father, a snack bar owner and Elvis impersonator in Hamburg-Rahlstedt, cannot tell them apart. Jesse had fled from Aaron, but one night, when he sees a dark figure in the cornfield in front of his house, he suddenly becomes certain: Aaron has returned to replace him.
