Following the great success of their picture book "Angermünde - Gateway to Uckermark," Wolfgang Blaschke and Ingo Nagel now present the long-awaited sequel. Angermünde, once a city of craftsmen and farmers, captivates with its unique landscape situated between the Lower Oder Valley National Park and the Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve. Founded in 1233, the "City between the Three Lakes" is now one of the few towns in Brandenburg with a nearly completely preserved historic city center. The authors take the reader on a journey through Angermünde's history from the end of the 19th century to 1970. They also provide a glimpse into the idyllic surroundings of the city and its current districts, including Stolpe and Greiffenberg. Over 200 mostly unpublished images primarily depict the everyday life of the residents of Angermünde, balancing work, leisure, and family.
