The Middle Franconian town of Zirndorf is widely known as a toy town. This historic city has preserved its charm over the centuries. In difficult times, there have always been people who have committed themselves to their city, shaping the everyday life of Zirndorf with great dedication and energy. This book focuses on interesting personalities and originals who are still fondly remembered by many residents of Zirndorf. Mathias Popp has been intensively studying the history of Zirndorf for years. From his own collection and private photo albums of numerous Zirndorf families, he has compiled over 200 largely unpublished photographs. The historical images provide insights into the everyday life of Zirndorf between 1900 and 1970 and showcase the people of the city - from former Mayor Anton Emmerling to the successful wrestler.
