Born on November 21, 1907, in Mönchen-Gladbach. In 1932, he passed the state examination and in 1933, he received his doctorate in medicine in Würzburg with a dissertation titled "On the Clinical Picture of Leukemia." After six years of clinical training, he established his practice as a general practitioner in 1938. From 1939 to 1945, he served on the front lines in the Wehrmacht. In 1945, he reopened his practice in Mönchen-Gladbach, focusing on holistic treatment of chronic diseases. Since 1948, he specialized in holistic internal cancer treatment, starting in 1950 in an inpatient setting. In 1951, he founded the Ringberg Clinic in Rottach-Egern at Lake Tegernsee as the first treatment facility for incurable cancer patients. He implemented a holistic cancer therapy as a proven treatment option for previously incurable cancer patients and provided follow-up care after surgery and radiation to increase the healing rate.
