In his new book, Peter Fuchs gathers, like a menagerie, theoretical reflections, philosophical and literary quotes, dream sequences, and diary entries that were originally meant to form the basis of another text. However, according to Fuchs, these notes one day took on a life of their own, intertwining and forming a system series, an establishment of luxury and curiosity: a magical cloth, a fabric that pushes theoretical thinking to its limits and beyond. The subtitle 'Day by Day' not only refers to the chosen form of arrangement but also, harking back to medieval minnesang, to the state of the writer during their work. A "Day by Day" describes the painful parting of two lovers at dawn. Thus, the system series is an intimate, sometimes painful, but always interwoven with a deep sense of comedy.
