Teaching as a central pedagogical activity has rarely been viewed from a systemic perspective until now. Johannes Schwehm outlines ways in which systemic concepts can be utilized for the didactic design of everyday subject teaching, aiming to initiate and promote health-enhancing processes for all participants. The core consists of twelve moderation methods tested in teaching practice. They cover the key areas of "planning and designing lessons," "promoting a culture of conversation," and "evaluating and assessing," and are designed for immediate use. "Moderation" refers to the idea that the central elements for planning and teaching—didactic principles, social forms, methods, and materials—are considered together in a way that makes interrelated processes within the group more likely.
