In the second book of this four-volume Taekwondo teaching series, the movement forms (Poomsae) required to attain the 2nd Dan are described. The various movement forms are presented through step-by-step photos and supplementary movement instructions. To facilitate spatial orientation, the respective positions are clearly illustrated with diagrams and additional photos. In addition to the description of the different Poomsae, application examples from self-defense using the respective techniques are also introduced. This provides the reader with insight into the origins and development of Taekwondo, allowing for a better understanding of its philosophy. The book concludes with a detailed chapter featuring overview tables of all four Poomsae along with accompanying short texts.
