This study addresses the identification of potential impact and stress factors of a day-structuring measure for alcohol-dependent women and men, as well as a formative evaluation of this measure. To collect the necessary data, interviews were conducted with 10 former participants of the program. The primarily content-analytical data evaluation was carried out according to the qualitative content analysis by Mayring. The statements of the participants were summarized into a category system of potential impact and stress factors. A total of 16 categories of potential impact factors were extracted, which are distributed across six main categories. Eight subcategories were found to be particularly effective, as they were mentioned most frequently by the respondents. Additionally, 15 categories of potential stress factors were identified, distributed across five main categories.
