All people go through life with the firm belief that there is an "I live" and believe they have their own personal life. And this "I" has very clear ideas about what this personal life should look like. However, this does not necessarily make people happy - on the contrary! A tremendous amount of energy must be expended to organize and control the "I live!" What must this "I" do, be able to do, and have to stay alive: power, success, money, security, control, recognition, gratitude, love, goals, enlightenment. The "I" is constantly tense and stressed. Only in rare moments does it see the simplicity and beauty of life and is truly content and relaxed, even though the "I" is constantly searching for peace. Why can't the "I" simply enjoy life? What is going wrong?.
