The textbook "Technical English - Civil Engineering and Construction" is designed as a text and workbook for students in engineering programs at universities and universities of applied sciences who wish to enhance their general English skills with relevant technical terminology, preferably from civil engineering and related disciplines. Eight chapters cover topics from mathematics, physics, chemistry, building materials, construction sites, energy, surveying, and professions in the construction industry. These chapters can be worked on individually and in any order, targeting the scientific and subject-specific modules that are generally relevant for a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Methodologically, the book is divided into text sections and various exercises to practice the terminology.
