The content focuses, after the definitional clarification and an excursion into antiquity, on the development of pedophilia in Germany. Subsequently, the legal aspects in this area are presented and explained. Finally, different explanatory models for the emergence of pedosexuality are discussed, and the question of how and whether a pedophile can be recognized is explored.
