Product details

The number of triplet births has increased worldwide since the 1980s. As a result, there are more people who are themselves triplets or who have to deal with and raise triplets as parents, educators, and teachers. However, few people have practical experience in handling triplets, and research on the topic is not very extensive. So far, almost only medical aspects have been examined or conclusions have been drawn from experiences with twins to triplets. But triplets are not like twins. They grow up as a group, where genetic composition plays a significant role, as does the personality of the children. The basis of this book is a study in which Christine Disselkamp surveyed 276 families from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. From the responses, she draws concrete conclusions about the social and emotional development of triplets.
