Anniversary Chronicle 1967

1967 is a year of unrest - wars in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Middle East, demonstrations with bloody riots in the USA and Europe, rising unemployment rates in industrialized countries. The apparent stability of the post-war order is increasingly shaken by regional conflicts and the crisis of the world economy. In the Six-Day War, Israel preempts its Arab neighbors and, thanks to its superior military technology, conquers a territory that is much larger than its own country.
