Textentwürfe zur Phänomenologie 1930-1932
German, Eugen Fink, 2019Product details
The rapidly growing interest in existential analytics, life philosophy, and ontology at the beginning of the 1930s forced Edmund Husserl to sharply distinguish the originally transcendental and fully developed phenomenology from these new trends in both methodological and systematic terms. Between 1930 and 1932, Eugen Fink, at the request of his teacher, drafted a series of texts on phenomenology that were intended to be of fundamental importance for a systematic work on phenomenology or were conceived as new Cartesian Meditations for the German audience. These drafts by Eugen Fink culminated in the VI. Cartesian Meditation (1932), which was received in France by Gaston Berger, Maurice Merleau-Ponty, and Tran Duc Thao, before Fink submitted it as his habilitation thesis at the University of Freiburg in 1946.
