Product details

In recent decades, construction in Germany has undergone fundamental and, in some cases, very dynamic changes. An ever-increasing complexity of construction measures, awareness of environmental impacts, and the diverse development of new materials and construction techniques have made sustainable building a crucial requirement for the work of engineers. The design of the Oskar von Miller Forum is entirely based on this development and conveys it outward to the public through its facade. The photovoltaic modules on the south side of the U-shaped building and the thermal solar collectors on the roof represent only the most prominent part of the environmentally friendly and emission-reducing measures. At the same time, a high level of living comfort was also prioritized. Clear lines define the design of the spaces, which is complemented by modern furnishings.
